Our Vision

Our vision for portraying Battalion 9 is to honor the history, sacrifice, and daily experience of the Italian infantry soldier during the Second World War through accurate, respectful, and educational living history reenactment. We strive to recreate not only the appearance and equipment of the unit, but also the discipline, camaraderie, and human stories behind the uniform. Through research, authenticity, and public engagement, we aim to preserve a lesser-known aspect of WWII history and provide audiences with a deeper understanding of the Italian soldier’s role during the conflict.

As a reenactment group, Battalion 9 is committed to building a community dedicated to historical education, teamwork, and professionalism. We seek to create immersive displays, field exercises, and public demonstrations that inspire curiosity and appreciation for military history while maintaining the highest standards of authenticity and conduct. Our goal is to ensure that the memory of those who served is represented with dignity and historical integrity for future generations.
